1985 KRAMER FOCUS 2000 MIJ BANANA HEADSTOCK

I have a really rare find for all you shredders out there!!!




Its a 1985 Kramer Focus 2000 in candy apple red WITH A BANANA HEADSTOCK!! Made in Japan. The banana headstocks were only available in 85. It has the original German made Floyd with the brass block. I have the original bridge pickup, it currently has a Duncan SCREAMIN DEAMON installed. Original neck pickup. One piece maple neck. Rosewood board.




This Kramer is in great condition for 38 years old! a few dings and scratches, but nothing terrible. There is no back plate. It ships in a generic gig bag.

I have an 86 with the transition headstock.
Seeing the price here, maybe I should consider selling mine….
I don’t have a pic in my phone otherwise I’d post it.

One of my two main guitars in the '80s was a Focus 3000 in this same color (HSS with matte black guard), beak headstock, I took out the singles and wrapped the pickguard with snakeskin, put in a JB and replaced the neck with a maple board Pacer USA neck (still with a "beak" headstock). I preferred this axe to my other which was a white '86 American Baretta. That was a great guitar too, sold to my brother in law (who still has it!).
