1988' Made in Japan Charvel 1C.

What did it need to have done to it?

Well it needed everything a 36 yr old all original guitar needed as far as tweaks and what not.
Its got some battle scars. Its going to be a hardtail for now til i can get locking tuners or a replacement trem but i like the bridge on it and i have 4 other floyd rose guitars so this one may be my JEL tribute.
Its a really cool guitar. Really janky cleans and hard driving humbucker that cleans up nice.
The Maple FB has a real snappy attack full of easily obtained pinch harmonics.
The white Basswood body has aged well. Same as me LPC.

Edit * Trem bar was angled too high due to the pitch of the trem hole.
I could not find a 6 mm straight bar except for the original brass trem Charvels and thats not gonna fit.
So i broke out a couple big wrenches and "modified" the bar here to fit my needs.
Added a string tree & a 5th spring in back. Looks like it may work @ standard pitch anyway.

its just like a lp custom. they start out WHITE and end up ivory/cream colored after a bunch of years. i dig it

The only maple FB for dirt i can jive with. 88 Jackson pups are fabulous. Same pups Jackson USA was using in 1988.
