1991 PRS handmade guitar

I was viewing my local vintage guitar shop today and trying out an ibanez lawsuit destroyer with emg 81 pickups when i met her. The man at the counter said that she was made before the PRS factory started up and he had never seen one before with the maple fretboard and black inlayed headstock. She played like an absolute dream but unfortunately i cant afford the $2000 US price tag dangling from her. Another notable feature is the black tuners which i have never seen before on a PRS. The pickups he said were handwound also by Paul Reed Smith and i really felt that hand carved vibe.

If your living in perth and your interested ill give you the adress and phone number of the shop becuase i wont let this go to some rich kid with a tendancy of smashing guitars.

I doubt that this guitar was handcarved . Back in '91 , the PRS were not CNC made but were issued from a duplicarver machine.
Only a few pre-factory (before '85/86) axes might have been hand carved but not in 91. Back those days , the guitars were made in Annapolis . The factory then moved to Stephensville in early '96.

BTW not doubt it might sound huge , PRS are fine tuned instruments with high quality woods !
