1999 Dual Rectifier/4x12 Cab - Current Market Value?

Hey Guys:

A buddy of mine needs to sell his Mesa DR head and matching 4x12 recto cab. The head is circa 1999 2 channel with the steel plate face, new power, preamp and rectifier tubes, includes cover and footswitch. Both the head and Cab are mint condition hardly ever used.

What is a fair asking price these days???

I have that sam head and paid $900
I have a oversized mesa cab I paid $450 for. You may be able to get a little more as I bought these from friends. The 1999 2 channels are better sounding than the new ones.

i'd totally make an offer if i had more than 30 bucks in my bank account, because i want a 2-channel dual reeealllly bad.

just out of curiousity, why is he letting it go?

He wants to raise some cash to buy the Mojave Peacemaker and matching cab. I think the recto was an impulse purchase on his part, because the thing probably has barely 20 hours on it since April 99!!

He's in Northern NJ BTW, I think he is looking for a local sale only - come pick it up basically.
