OK as you probobly still know im still planning on building the 2X12 but ive been conflicted as i really want to get that boss dr-670 drum machine for mabye participating in some jammin with myself and improving my playing and whatnot, so my plan is to ..

Build the Cab with dimensions of a 2x12 and for the moment just use one speaker and cut the baffle accordingly, so it would be a 1x12 speaker in a 2x12 cab for the moment till i get enough cash to buy another speaker, so i get to have a convieniently sized cab for bringing to practises and/or jams and whatnot but also have the drum machine to mess with and hone my potential :laugh2:

What's your opinions there??

I think that thats my best option but like to see what you guys think..

Just make sure that the your amp can handle both impedance specs you will be planning on using, as adding a 2nd speaker will change that value as opposed to a single.

Yeh ill be going with 2 8 ohms, so first it will be a single 8ohm V30 or with any luck eminence V12 and second will also be 8ohm when i add it, then wire it for series and parrallel so ill have a 16 and 4 ohm setting..

Cheers..Ill have to look into getting the stuff then over the weekend..
