2 Filtertrons and 1 Alnico 2 Single Coil Middle Position

Using 2 500k pots...using caps to adjust sound of single coil...looking for insight on that mod?..

Wouldn't it be better to use a 470k resistor for the single?

certainly more common to use the 470k resistor
