Two Strat Questions here, thank you!
1. Can someone direct me to a link where you would put the bass and treble side (measurements) on an Everything Axe set strat - (Little’59 neck, Duckbucker middle…but with a Hot Rails bridge, not a Jr JB)

2. I’m really digging this set up and am thinking about doing a similar strat but keeping the original Jr. JB that comes in the bridge with Everything Axe Set . Does anyone like that combo, especially the position 2 (Duck Bucker/Jr JB) sound. Another possibility with this guitar would be the Classic stack neck, Classic Stack middle and the Jr JB bridge. Any comments help!

I am not exactly sure where they set the pickup height on the Everything Axe pickguard from the factory, but this article might help. As far as your idea with the Classic Stacks, it is a good one. The JB Jr would be louder than the Stacks (you might like that), but you'd get a better "best of both worlds" HSS set. In other words, you will be able to easily cover Strat quacky sounds as well as harder rock.

There is no set measurement which works for every guitar, you really need to adjust each pup according to what sounds and feels good to you. But I'd probably start with 1/8" from the strings at the high "E" side and 3/16" at the low "E" side.

Raise, lower, and tilt each pup until it works/sounds best to you.

Best advice right here!

Often, guitar manufacturers will have a standard height they set pickups to during initial setup, but that doesn't mean they leave the factory in the "best" setting.

Get the pickups reasonably close to the strings then adjust each side of the pickup up and down a small bit at a time until you get the response you want. Often, you'll find a "sweet spot" where the strings have good volume, but aren't boomy or overly thin.

Thanks for the height help. This is how I had my pickups originally put in. Upon looking at this, would the fact the bass side is higher than the treble be alerting? Due to the radius of the fretboard and holding the last fret….and finding 3/32 (I know that’s a ballpark place to start and dial in after) would it usually look like that? My action is very low usually too. Thanks!

I personally never bother measuring pick-up height. I adjust them by ear.

Once you start playing you'll be listening to them, not (consciously at any rate) calculating mathematical relationships.

That looks weird how all the pups are adjusted so high at the bass side of the pups...just the opposite of how I usually set my pups.
But you have to play with them (heights and angles) to get your best sound.

Usually I slant pickups so that they're higher under the high e and lower under the low e (at the very least for the neck position, often for middle, and sometimes for bridge). But there are no rules, do what sounds good.

Me as well. It gives better balance between the high and low strings, at least with how I play.
