The Golden Boy Fleecy Sweaterologist Jun 7, 2007 #2 Re: 2 tones, no volume? I think you just wired it wrong. pickup to lug 1 of vol pot, tone cap out lug 2, jack out of lug 2- cap goes to lug 2 of tone pot. Lug 3 on both pots get grounded.
