I haven't had a non-metric allen truss rod on a Strat style guitar in 20 years including ESP / LTD, Ibanez, EVH, Jackson, PRS ect.
Coincidentally this guitar is 21 years old.
I guess Fender sent USA truss rods to Mexico for production in 2002 IDK ?
Or maybe its a USA neck w/a MIM serial # IDK
