thanks so much for the listen. I recorded directly into my $150 presonus interface. I used Reaper as my Daw. I used the Peavey Revalver 3.5 I just bought for $30 and chose the 3120 amp and their overdrive green pedal, and used it with Recabinet impulses. I used the toontrack Superior 2.3 Koloss equalizing. for bass I used ezmix preset. I mixed with reaEQ for equalizing. I "mastered" with ozone 5. Cheers :beerchug:
bought revalver 3.5 two weeks ago for $30 on the MF stupid deal of the day
not bad for that price and adds to my arsenal of software amp modelers, I think revalver is good at metal but not so much for other music. the amp tone controls are not that responsive but I prolly am in the n00b phases of using revalver though. I recommend ezmix over revalver though since it is way easier revalver IR impulses are bad though, I dont ever plan to use them; you need other impulses really.
I liked revalver HP's "vintage 4 x 12" I think it was called - some type of generic one near the bottom of the list (probably a marshall with greenbacks or v30s). All the amp-specific ones didn't really float my boat as I recall.
