250k pod with a humbucker

what will be the result in sound if i put a 250k pot with lets say a DD, does anybody do this, any artists....if yes why?

It'll have less highs than a 500k pot. I don't know about the DD, but Jeff Beck ran the JM/JB set in his Tele-Gib with 250k pots. :burnout:

One thing to consider, a 250k pot, in the right guitar, with the right pup, could produce a killer sound. Don't overlook experimenting and finding whats best for you. Take a quick look at this thread:
