2x12 cab

Hi guys....

I'm looking for a 2x12 cab at the moment. Any recommendation for this? I've been looking at Marshall 1936 but i've seen inconsistent review about it.

It depends on how much you want to spend and how big of a cab and what quality you want. I've got one that I'm selling now new on my website, British style G12H30 speakers. I've also got a great Two Rock 2x12, American type speakers that I'm selling in the trading post.

Avatar is a great bang for the buck value.

I have no experience with them, but from what I've heard, the Avatar stuff is not just "good for the money," it's just plain ol' "good."

Or buy a Framus 2x12 with Vintage 30s ;) I have one too. It must be good.
Do you live in the U.S.? Otherwise you may have probs with Avatar Cabs...

Yeah, a lot of folks dis avatar because on their budget cabs, they just screw the speakers into the baffle from the front. I actually had one of their industrial looking black carpet 2x12 with the big metal grill on the front. it was a great cab. cheap too, had a G12H30/V30 combo in it. My only complaint was that it was closed back and I vastly prefer the open back as time has worn on.

Mojo also has a great cabinet shop. They'l take special orders on just about anything and their turnaround time is awesome.

What kind of amp are you looking to use it with?

I have a couple of Avatar cabs and they're pretty good. I have an Ear Candy on order because my #1 2x12 is a ported affair and I'd like another like it. The THD 2x12 is supposed to be brilliant as well.

I have Peavey XXL and Fender Deluxe Reverb. I want to pair with the XXL.
