3 Pickup Wiring Question

Hey,

Hopefully someone will be able to help me out with some wiring/modifications.

I have a 3 pickup guitar that I want to re-wire with some modifications.

I want a humbucker in the neck, single in middle, humbucker in bridge
Basically what I'm looking for is the Jimmy Page wiring with a middle pickup added.

Here are the switching options I want:

1. Neck
2. Neck + Middle
3. Middle
4. Middle + Bridge
5. Bridge
6. All on

At the moment the physical positions for each aren't crucial, but as long as they are included.

Neck volume pot is push pull - pull for single coil
Neck tone pot is push pull - pull for series parallel between neck and bridge
Bridge volume pot is push pull - pull for single coil
Bridge tone pot is push pull - pull for phase reverse between bridge and neck

The closest diagram I have found is here: http://www.stewmac.com/freeinfo/i-0040/i-0040.pdf - Page 6 I think, it should be a H/S/H layout.
The only difference is the switching options are different. I would rather the coil cutting/phase/series were independent from the pickup selection.

I imagine it would be easy to rearrange the wiring to accommodate the options I want. I'm also not entirely sure about that selector switch, a rotary switch might be better. I am open to suggestion on that too.

Sorry for the long post, I didn't want to leave anything out.

Cheers!!

Re: 3 Pickup Wiring Question

None of the Stew-Mac diagrams is Page wiring.

The simplest option would be to follow the regular Page schematic then introduce the middle pickup via the freeway selector switch. (Diagram 4 of 7.)

Re: 3 Pickup Wiring Question

That's exactly what I was thinking.
I think I just needed someone to confirm that I was doing it right! hah!
