Howdy pickup masters! I'm new here but even just browsing the SD forum has led me to believe that my answers lie here... somewhere!
I bought an Ibanez pawn store guitar that, in my opinion, just needed a little TLC. Then... I plugged it in and 'tried' to play it. It has WHAT I THOUGHT were a single volume control and a separate tone for each pickup. (That's my favorite dual humbucker configuration.) Everything sounded so messed up and I just couldn't figure out what the heck was going on. I looked up the configuration and found out that the top knob, (Where I'd usually have my volume,) was NOT a volume pot, but a "Blender" knob. I don't know about you guy, but I don't like it! Thus, I'd like to use these 500K pots and simply rewire them to suit a configuration that I am familiar with.
I have confirmed that my 3way 4 pole toggle is in fact an on/on/on toggle and I'd like to get some help in soldering my harness for a simple Neck/Bridge Hummbucker, 1Volume, 2Tone, 3Way wiring configuration. (See my Seymour Dumcan diagram below.)

The three way split should be:
Toggle up: (towards neck,) just the top Hummbucker.
Toggle middle" Both pickups
Toggle down: (towards bridge,) just the bridge pickup.
All of this is simple enough, IF I were using a simple 3Pole 3Way toggle, but I'd like to use the original parts if possible.
As I've seen on other 3way 4pole posts on this SD Pickup Forum, let's name my poles:
1234
ABCD
5678
WHAT should I solder WHERE???

Thanks in advance wiring gurus!
Glen
