Consider the 8 terminal sliding switch as having two poles. (i.e. Each line of four terminals.) One pole of each switch performs the on/off/on function. The other pole completes the connection to ground of the coil split conductor(s).
Let's name them

On the first pole;
1 = PU hot and link to 4
2 = link to 3
3 = link to 2 and output to control pots
4 = PU hot (from terminal 1)
On the second pole;
5 = NOT USED
6 = link to 7
7 = link to 6 and ground
8 = coil split conductor(s) from pickup.
NOTE: For convenience, the green and bare conductors from each miniHB can also be grounded to terminals 6 and 7 of its respective switch.
For your Jazzmaster, the three switches will need to be linked. Terminal 3s all linked. Terminal 7s all linked.
