3 Xotic AC Booster samples (Tele/Strat/335)

Hey, I went to my local boutique guitar store (well, we only have one ) and I was gassing for an OD pedal and then I tried this little babe. Wow! I liked the RC booster as well, but I didn't want to spend an average workers salary all at once.

Here are 3 quick samples with a Tele, Strat and 335. The amp is an Engl screamer (1st channel, gain at 10 o clock) and the delay is a dd3 in the loop:

It simply makes the sound big, BIG and then BIGGER!

Great clips, I'm using an AC booster along with a BB preamp and an OCD, each of these pedals has it's own vibe, I like using the AC with the gain at about 9 O'clock and using it to drive the front of the other two pedals - thick and rich. I'll have to post some clips.

Great clips, I'm using an AC booster along with a BB preamp and an OCD, each of these pedals has it's own vibe, I like using the AC with the gain at about 9 O'clock and using it to drive the front of the other two pedals - thick and rich. I'll have to post some clips.

I noticed that the RC Booster was like the AC just even more transparent. It sounded amazing, but I could only afford one yesterday, so I went for the AC.

They had the BB in the shop as well, but I didn't get the chance to try it. If you could post some clips of it, I'd be very greatfull.

I've heard good things about the OCD, but I haven't heard anyone play one yet.

Thanks Rid. I was actually looking to try out a Carl Marting Plexitone as well but I couldn't find one. Sooner or later, I shall find one somewhere.

It is transparent in that it doesn't boost mids or compress the signal, but it does add gain, volume and harmonics and some fuzz.
