Hi i will put some new pickups in my tele, and think i will make the 4 way tele mod when im in there
but does any of you have the tele set up this way, and is all 4 useable or is it a waste of time making the mod
i have a 4 way switch in my tele. as long as you have vintage output type pups i think the series option is fine and useable. if you have hot pups, i find the series option is pretty tubby and not anything i would use
It is a usable tone. Whether it is useful depends on your tastes and playing style. If the other three positions are too bright/weak the 4th position is dark and warm but it doesn't sound like a humbucker.
