4x12 shootout, V30s vs G12T75s

Recently my buddy and I did a shootout of our 2 Marshall 1960B cabs, his has V30s and mine has G12T-75s, which do you prefer?

Both, in your vid, the crunchy better on the V30s and the GT75s for the high gain. I run them together in my rig, they go together like peanut butter and jelly.

Yeah we ran them together and they sounded great, the only issue is we found the V30s to be much louder then the G12T-75s. Or maybe the V30s were more prominent in the mix but either way it sounded awesome! Thanks for watching!

The V30's sound muffled and lifeless. The G12T-75's definitely win in this shootout.

I have both in an x-formation in my Marshall cab, get the bright cut of a V30 and the low boominess from the G12T-75's. Nice mix.

G12T-75s in the bottom cab, vintage 30s in the top cab.
