500K Volume pot for Hot Rails?

I've got a 500K Volume Pot and a Hot Rails strat pup, will this work right or should I get a 250K pot?
Just need info real quick before I wire it up.

I use a 500k and it's fine. Being that it is a humbucker, that's what you'd want to use anyway IMHO.

If it's too bright, get a 250k... if not, keep the 500k
