500t + A5

Hey,

Okay so I have a gibson 500T pup layin around a a dimarzio HFH. I was thinking about taking the Alninco 5 magnet(s) out of the Dimarzio and putting them in the 500T in place of the ceramics.

What would this do ot the sound of the 500T?
or should i not even try this?

Try it. I think the 500T has 3 magnets and not sure if they are even able to be swapped for a normal A5 magnet.

My guess is with a single A5 mag, it would sound like a Dirty Fingers or a hotter 498T.
