5150 Combo- What do you all think of it?

I did not have time to play through it, but I did check it over and is in great cosmetic shape. I can get it for under 500 clams. It has Eddie's name in script. Heavy as hell, just under 90 lbs. Is the amp worth that and if it is not for me can it be turned quickly?

I know of a bias mod;are there other mods that make the amp more flexible, quieter and better than it is stock? Let me know what you think about the amp, price and mods.

Please use the search function... there have been like 6 of these purchased in the last month buy the guys on the forum LOL.


They go for 550-650 (and price is increasing) on eBay all day long. I'd snag it for 500, for sure, and yeah, you'll be able to sell it easily enough.


The bias mod warms the bias enough to bring the amp out of crossover distortion... makes it much warmer and dynamic, as well as improves the cleans.
