im pretty horrible with finding amp settings on my own, could anyone tell me a good setup to get a avenenged sevenfold type tone from my amp, preferably syn gates lead tone, i whould appreciate it alot

Keep your mids at 2-3... that's where the the thing really sings best. Anything higher and it just gets honky.
I keep my gain at 3.5, lows at 6, mids at 2, highs at 4.5, resonance at 7, presence at 8. Tubescreamer in front, and I'm in heaven.
