'54 Tele STL-1b wax potting question

Hello all - I have had the '54 Tele STL-1 pickup in a few teles and love it but am thinking about ordering a custom version with a non-wax-potted bottom plate to get some of the slight microphonics that the Antiquities have.

Just wondering if anyone thinks there would be any issues (besides potential feedback) I'm overlooking. Thanks!

Why not simply apply heat and leverage to the baseplate of a production line STL-1B?

I realize that is an option, but I would likely have to pay someone else to do the work so it would probably be a wash in the end. Just wanted to see if there were any issues I was overlooking by going the custom shop way. Also, I meant the STL-1 bridge, not the STL-1b, although that probably doesn't have any bearing on the baseplate question.

stl-1 is the vintage lead, the stl-1b is the broadcaster
