I think that unless your guitar's tone is dark to the point of unplayability, a ceramic in a 59 would be a recipe for the shrillest, most mid-scooped pickup of all time. Relative to any Alnico, ceramics add treble, something the 59 does not lack.

Yeah I suppose... it might make for a decent neck pickup then, similar to a jazz model with PAF character?
