59/Custom Hybrid- A2 vs A5

Just goofing around tonight. Not entirely satisfied with A2 and its been years since I used the A5 so I figured I'd give it a whirl again. Still like the A2 better. Might try an A8 tomorrow, though I doubt I'd like that more.




Theres an annoying difference in playing, the A5 clips are much tighter as the A2 clips were me pretty much making it up on the fly. By the time I got around to the A5 clips I had it down form repetition. Womp womp.

The 59/CH I have has an A-5 in it and it has nice low end and a beautiful high end as well as well as the mids are almost perfect. I love the CH. What kind of guitar are you resting this CH in?

Edwards Flying V. Maple neck & board, Floyd Rose, some sources say Mahogany body while others say Alder. I can't read Japanese so I don't know for certain. Fairly bright sounding guitar overall.

Also the A5 is growing on me, might wait a bit before switching back.
