59/Custom Hybrid - Who currently uses it?

Finally been able to play the guitar this is in. My first impression..... wow. Talk about open and dynamic.....and the harmonics. This pickup feels like it can do it all. I like it with the Classic Stack Plus in the neck and middle. Sure, there's some output difference but that's ok. It's not a massive difference. It's very responsive, touch sensitive, and it sounds sweet rolled back on the volume. Cleans up so good. I'm glad I took a chance with this one. Will be playing this guitar at rehearsal tonight so will have a better idea of how it is in a band situation.

Yeah, I agree- it is a fantastic pickup. I have it in 2 guitars so far- a Warmoth HSS Strat and a Steinberger.

It was great at rehearsal last night. Really great feel and response. Still playing with the height to find the sweet spot that I like but I'm close.

I’m thinking of reinstalling mine again and trying it in drop B tuning. I’m thinking it will be tighter than the JB that I currently have installed. I feel like the 59/custom is a great pickup and I feel like it is kind of bland. Not in a bad way though. It just to me isn’t overhyped in any one area of bass, mids, or treble. I like that it kind of lets your amp do the talking if that makes sense.
