59 neck/ custom5 bridge hybrid?

Can you use a 59 neck instead of a 59 bridge to make a c5/59 hybrid for the bridge pos?

Absolutely. When you make a hybrid, you've created a new pup. Where it came from and where its going are up to you.

You can do it, but that doesn't mean it was meant to be done(quote:Chris Rock)... I would really recommend sticking with BRIDGE winds for a pickup to be used in the BRIDGE position for proper tone & response.

I think I'll not try that one then, I was offered a 59n cheap but being that I have one in my axe already I thought about the hybrid trick.
I'll just wait untill a bridge 59 comes my way.
