59 or Distortion in neck with JB?

I'm going to move some pups around today to try out some new combo's. I had initially decided to mate a zebra 59n with my zebra JB in my Patriot. But I got to thinking, I have this Distortion neck model, (also zebra), that I've never heard yet.

How would you compare a JB/59 combo to the JB/Distortion combo?

Keep in mind, this guitar is a fixed bridge, and tends to be bright.

Thanks all.
Artie

Edit: One more quick thing: the DD is 4-wire, the 59 is 2, so with the DD I could play around more with splitting both pups. Thanks.

artie if you have never heard it then get it in a guitar and have at it, if you don't like it you can alwasy take it back out and put that 59 in there.

But . . . if I use common sense, I don't get the fun of posting in the forum. :laugh2:

Actually, thats pretty sound advice . . . DD it is. ;) (For now.)

Thanks guys.

the DD neck is a lot hotter than the 59 and has more of a syrupy tone overall
either work with a JB
it is up to YOUR ears to which is best sounding? :)

Cool. The 59's went into the Predator without a hitch. (Simple pickguard swap.) The 59's are a perfect match for the Predator. The Kahler Flyer tamed the shrillness that I had with the 59 trembucker in the Patriot. The string alignment is also perfect. (I'll post pics later.)

I think the Predator is finished - ie., I won't be messing with it anymore. Even though it may seem odd having a "Vintage Blues" set in this guitar, it works perfectly. :)
