59 or Jazz pup with a ceramic magnet

Has anyone tried a 59 or Jazz with a ceramic magnet? Do you think the top end would be too harsh? I searched the forums and couldn't find any history of this mod. I'm sure someone here has done it.

I haven't tried but but what I remember from others that have is that while it does boost the output with the ceramic magnet, it sort of turns was is likeable of the 59 sound, to a sort of mediocre bland sound.
