It's definately the neck version, and there is far more of a difference than just a little less output. A neck pickup in the bridge will sound significantly weaker, thinner, and definately have less output. If you like how it sounds, then there's nothing technically wrong with keeping it there. In fact, alot of people put bridge pickups in the neck. Neck pickups in the bridge aren't as popular, but everyone's tastes are different. However, if you think it sounds too thin, weak, quiet, or in general doesn't sound good, I'd suggest you get the bridge version and either sell off the '59n or stick it in the neck slot.
