OK, I've done some research, and am leaning towards a 59 set for my 79 335. Would this give me mellow from the neck and some crunch when I want it from the bridge?
A '59b will work. How much crunch do you want? I have a Sheraton 355 with a '59 neck & Custom 5 bridge that gives me great crunch & power for solos. Its my favorite combination.
