the ap2 bridge model has a higher dc resistance than the neck model. sd website says bridge is 7.85k while neck is 7.6k. this gives the bridge model a slightly higher output. this may give you a slightly darker sound. BUT a .25k difference is VERY minimal. if you had a set of ap2's and installed them in the wrong positions (bridge model in the neck and neck model in the bridge), i really doubt if you'll hear the difference. and if ever there is a difference, it's nothing a little height adjustment won't fix.
i say go for it. you can't go wrong with the ap2.
