59N in the birdge pos ?

Super quick question.

Has anyone used the 59N [neck] in their bridge position in the past ?
If so, how does it sound ? And how did it compare to the 59B in the bridge position ?

it’s a lot brighter and more open, like you would expect.
if you try it, make sure you have a tone pot wired

I like the open'ness, but i am not looking for a brighter pick up, especially not in the bridge pos.

Why not go for it, I don't see why you can't tone down the brightness with cap and tone pot values.

Allan used a special double screw 59n in the bridge. The lower output has more string sensitivity, too.

when i did it, i put screws towards the bridge as you would normally with any other bridge pup

I rotated it so the screws faced the bridge.
