Its a solid state amp. Good deal. probably worth 3 times that.Some of the old tube Sanos are cool, but Sano is not one of the ones with a pedigree to the old Marshalls.
Some of the old Amps, both tube and solid state are also real rats nest wiring inside...barely worth messing with.
I'd caution kevlar to be careful with some of those old, amps. They can have live chassis.DEFINITELY not worth messing with.

Every chassis is worth messing with. Been through too many amps, so there are no real surprises when I open em up. This has a really nice fat clean thing. Great for funk, jazz or country, the verb and trem are beautiful, and it has a really nice sustain while really laying in cleanville. Grinds a bit when dimed, but not like some of my other vintage SS amps. The speaker in that cab sounds fantastic. A very good chance that there will be times is simply use it as a speaker cab.

Any chance for a video on this amp? I am afraid that bargains like this are harder to find in these parts. Your amp quest definitely has me wanting to fill in a couple of gaps in my own amp collection (namely a Deluxe clone and an Orange or Matamp of some variety).

Yes, I can toss up a clip, this amp stays very clean, but has a very nice full character and a cool sustain about it. I would like it to grind more, but that can always come for a pedal, I really bought it for the speaker and amazing sounding cab enclosure.
