7- String Bridge Pup for my Jackson DR-7

so, my DR-7 didn't sell very well on ebay(had my mum place a safety bid to minimize loss and she won it. Without that bid i would have lost about 300€ which would have killed my budget), so i'm keeping it, but i need a new bridge pup.

I love the sweet singing lead tone and the great warm cleans i get from the Air Norton 7, but the Evo 7 in the bridge just has too much trebel/high-mid fizz and hiss to it. I want to try a duncan in there before going for another DMZ.
So far i'm pretty sure that i don't want a JB-7 since i don't really like the six string version. And i think the invader might be a little too much and not tight enough for the really aggressive and technical death and prog i play on this axe.
Apart from those two i have no idea about what to pick.
The guitar is Alder body/maple bolt-on, rosewood board, stringthrough tune-o-matic. It's a rather balanced sounding unplugged, might be a little
dark, but not much.
Right now i think a custom-7 might be the way to go since the six string version is heavy but still tight and cutting, which would be exactly what i'm looking for(the evo seven has great scream for leads but doesn't sound ballsy enough for rhythm).
So tell me what you think would be best for me(i'd kill for a Full Shred 7, but i can't afford the custom shop).

And Merry Christmas to all of you guys
