USA custom Mockingbird, came with Dimarzios (hate them, always have) and a bullet pre amp...Very undefined grainy sound, It is mostly used for playing heavier stuff (slayerish to nevermore) though it does have a beautifull clean sound and would like to retain those qualities....due to it having pick up rings, and the see thru blue finish (also signed by Berinie sr, before he passed) has thwarted me from installing emg's in it... I see two choices of 7 string pickemups availiable on the web site, I have played a few trembuckers in the past and a bit concerned they may not be hot enough for the bridge. Any one have any experiences with these? Rig is Tri axis, bbe, eventide, strategy 500 thru boogie 4x12's. *couple old photos below*
