7-String PRS Prototype

im thinkin some sucker paid more than $17k for a guitar he hasnt even played. Barnum was right.

The very first PRS 7-string, I'm surprised collectors haven't jumped on that one (it looks incredible). Certainly beats that POS eagle thing before.

I wish PRS did have a production 7 string on the Market ... I'd love to see that happen ... but alas it'd be a money sink so it won't happen.

Change the neck material and I'd be in debt big time

very nice.................

i'm really starting to like the tiger stripes as opposed to quilting lately...........or at least as much...???

Re: 7-String PRS Prototype

I always wanted to know if they made a 7 string. I am a 7 string player myself its a nice peice of work.

Re: 7-String PRS Prototype

Yeah yeah, a collector's item, sure. But most people would rather spend their $17,000 elsewhere...minivan anyone?

Woohoohoho that's a laugh if I ever heard one. Car maybe ... but Minivan ... not until the Wife, 2 1/2 kids and a mortgage enter the equation.

Seriously ... that is a lot of dough for something that even for the combination of parts and labour and a little overhead is ... well ... overpriced. But as they say, the price is what some people are willing to pay for it. I'd have stopped at 9-10k for it.

The seller ended this listing early because of an error in the minimum bid

Maybe he wasn't looking for 17k ... who knows

Sometimes I wish PRS would do a line of 7 strings ... but I can understand why they don't. :2:

I think he's talkin' about a man's minivan, like a Chevy Astro. You know, to haul gear with and stuff *adjusts package* :laugh2:

You certainly can't take that PRS on the bus, now can you? :laugh2:

Re: 7-String PRS Prototype

A man's Minivan is a jacked up Econoline ... these babies go anywhere (from personal experience)
