'78 and a Les Paul

Who put one in and hows it sound? I'm looking for a more aggressive PAF but still open and clear. What say you?

It is pretty aggressive and it has a nice amount of clarity...as for open, it is an alnico II humbucking pickups so there is that typical alnico II compression but it's not like a Custom Custom or anything.

It's the open position to put one in, IMHO. As mentioned on the other thread, my '78 made the top spot in my collection, which is my Burny plaintop's bridge position.

Aggressive and clear is what you get. It gets too thin with a trem.
