'85 Fender Japan pickups: Alnico?

Hey guys!

A friend of mine offered me his '85 Fender Japan pickups (3 single coils) for cheap.

I asked if they were alnico or ceramic but he doesn't know how to tell.

Would a pic of the back side help? I've only seen my MIM singles and they have a ceramic bar underneath...

As far as I know, if they have the usual rod magnets (as opposed to a bar) they will be alnico. The stock pickups from my 1990 MIJ Strat sound very close to SSL-1s - they are constructed like a classic Strat pup, except for the bobbin being moulded plastic.
