A bone dry '71 Superlead clip

I recorded this last night really quick just to hear how this amp sounds with this spec I'm running. A Van Halen riff and a Lynch riff just to get an idea. Tell me what you think. Excuse the sloppy playing. Superstrat with a Duncan EVH straight in a '71 Superlead. Everthing on 10 except bass on 0.
PPIMV dimed. Check out my soundclick. Red Superlead spec.

What is PPIMV? Either, way that was some cool tone. A bit more gain than I would use but fat rocking tone.

Thanks for the cool comments guys. With your help we'll make this amp into a fire breathing monster!
A PPIMV is Post Phase Inverter Master Volume. I installed this version in my Non Master Volume amp to get major grind at lower volumes.
Heres a pic of my installation. Its the dualganged pot at the back with the 2 shielded cables and the white wire. One running from the P.I. output and the other to the power grid resistors(pin 5) of the power tubes.

Have you tried removing the cathode bypass cap on the cathode resistor of V2? I thought mine sounded a lot better without that cap. Without it it has a little less gain, but the clean tone goes from lifeless to amazing. I also prefer the 56k/250pf tone stack to the 33k/500pf. The 56k/250pf is the plexi value, the 33k/500pf is the metalface value. I think the 56k/250pf sounds more like billy gibbons or evh and the 33k/500pf sounds more hair metal, but its a pretty subtle difference.

Clips sounded good, I just like to encourage people to try different component values in these amps to see whats out there (especially my favorite values, because I think my amp is the greatest amp ever created.)
