hello
i like my classic player 60's strat but i want more=

i like my Fender custom 69 pickups
BUT I WANT

22 frets or 24
floyd rose or a good vibrato for a lot of effects (i am not fan of a floyd rose because of the settings)
ssh ?
3 pickups together for a telecaster sound
a sound for Yingwie to nile rodgers to Clapton to Les paul with the boost to Sambora for crazy harmonics
more harmonics (at the octave too like a sustainer)
more sustain

so
which guitar would be interesting ?

a Ferdandes strat with cool rails or hot rails
an Esp with stks4 and a hb
A strat with lace sensors+boost like a Buddy Guy model?
a cheap strat with floyd rose and pickups that i want (which pickups?) + piezo + EC boost?

a Eric Clapton model with a jeff beck junior and a vibrato ?

a hss deluxe strat?

i like the sounds of my pickups but there is hum.
i like the sound with alder+custom 69 pickups +tone at 0 +neck pickup

I am wondering exactly how three Fender '69 Stratocaster type pickups together is supposedly going to sound like a Telecaster.

Apart from the double locking vibrato aspect, I would suggest a Fender Deluxe American Stratocaster with S-1 wiring. (Just add yo' Fender CS '69s.) If you have the budget for a Fender artist signature model plus modifications, you can probably stretch to a PRS 513.

Again with this? Didn't you get enough answers last time?

I would bet that neck and bridge in series would do a fair representation

22 frets, floyd rose, ssh ? => Maybe a Blacktop Strat with floyd rose but if you like the flatter bigger frets maybe a Charvel with a pickguard, in any of these two you need a picguard swap. Or if you have the money the deluxe strat but that won't have a floyd.

I wonder how usable are the new fluence pickups in reality, they claim to be multi voiced so it is supposed to go from vintage output to higher output with the flick of a switch. Or just get some humbuckers that are meant to get a good split single coil sound like Staga Mag, PRails, Screaming Demon or other.

Also, the stacked single coils can also be split for true single coil mode, i remember there is a demo of the STK-S7 out there wich starts in split mode and sounds sweet then when the guy cranks the volume for more gain it works in noiseless mode. Something to keep in mind and wanna try myself.

G&L....try the USA Invader models if you must must have a Floyd. The Comanche and S-500 models could work too with 7-way switching and very powerful pickups. These have the Leo Fender-designed Dual Fulcrum Vibrato, which I think is one of the very best vibratos on the market.

Check out the entire line of USA-made G&Ls. Their quality is at least as good as Fender Custom Shop, with lower prices and a wide range of options. This is the company that Leo Fender started after FMIC, and he always said these were his best guitars.

If you're not snobbish about the name on the headstock, you can find a really great G&L that may fit your needs better.

Re: A classic player 60's strat ok but i want more!!

the g&l can be good but hard to find

a blacktop : maybe but i will not have the singe coils too

charvel san dimas, so cal: maybe
with a split

a PRS 513: very expensive
i think it’s a legend to have all the sounds

the telecaster sound comes from the neck pickup+the bridge pickup
and it’s beautiful
and i have not this sound with another guitar

i play with an ibanez too but i prefer the clean sounds of strat
jeff beck
clapton
a boost+sh4 or other big hb = perfect

i don’t know if a floyd rose is really interesting compared to a standard vibrato+locking tuners (i have that)
the floyd needs some good settings and sometimes it’s boring and it takes a lot of times

my vibrato is perfect with the SPerzel locking tuners

The s1 can be good but i don’t know if i will have the telecaster sound too with the hb split
and
i would like to have a boost for the neck pickup like Clapton or buddy guy

i think the n3 is different from my beautiful custom 69’s pickups

for the bridge position, it will be a pearly gates or sh4
or the stocking bridge pickup
i don’t know how it sounds but it is not a duncan’s

i wanted to put some videos here but it doesn't work
