A couple of Prail questions..

Re: A couple of Prail questions..

No that isn't it. I thought the screwdriver wasn't sticking to the screws the other night but that's because it's not near as strong as how it sticks to the neck pickup. When I flipped the magnet I could tell it wasn't sticking at all, when I flipped back around I could feel a slight stick. No, I ****ed up my pickup. That's the first time that's ever happened after years of swapping magnets. Of course I picked the most expensive pickup I've ever bought to screw up. :34:

Re: A couple of Prail questions..

Ok, I narrowed it down and it's the tripleshot that's bad. I swapped in my regular Prail bridge pickup (a known good pickup) and it had the same symptoms. I bypassed the tripleshot and bam, it works fine. Now that pisses me off! This is now the second one I bought that went bad. The first one I had a long time but the last time I swapped pickups the ribbon cable came loose on one side, but this one I babied, it's brand new and it's already messed up.

Edit: Just tested my neck PR the same way and guess what...turns out my problem with the rail coil volume on that pickup was the same issue all along. That means that TS was bad right out of the box.

edit: let this thread die guys, I started a new one. https://forum.seymourduncan.com/showthread.php?315782-Tripleshot-quality-reliability
