Darkness on the edge of Tone
This is the writing demo for a piece to a new song my band is working on. The song hovers around E Mixolydian until the instrumental bit when it goes home to A. I change things up a bit, though and go through some Jackson Brown-esque country influenced bits and then into something a bit fusion-y ... soloing over an open A pedal tone on the guitar.
The lead is far from complete, but I like the idea of where this is going very much. This is the country/punk section going into the fusion bit.
