a n00b peeks in and says hello

Re: a n00b peeks in and says hello

i think some of you might want to work on your reading comprehension. you're calling me "bro" and "he" and i said right there in the first post, "i'm a girl and i like pretty things..." although, i DID make that first post annoyingly long, so i guess i can't blame you for missing it. :P (i also posted in there that we were 400 miles apart at the time, and that it was over a year ago...but again, that's a subtle detail in a wall of text, lol.)

I think you'll soon find your subtlety goes completely to waste around here.

WE LIKE TO SAY LOUD OBVIOUS THINGS TO EACH OTHER IN BOLD CAPS.

Best Duncan Forum posting advice I can give:

Short sentences.

Separated by line breaks.

Agree with everything I say.

Enjoy the spoils of success!

so, keep it simple, stupid. yeah, that's a good forum rule anywhere. i promise, i only get long-winded when in storyteller mode, which isn't likely to happen again any time soon.

honestly, i'm surprised this thread is still going. lol.

It's also forum with a large number of people who've been here for years.

I think we're pretty welcoming to newcomers but just be aware that there is literally a decade of inside jokes with some people here and they kind of get thrown around a lot.. don't be put off or feel like an outsider. Just jump in like you belong here and you'll be fine.

And that's all I have to say about that. ;)
