What pickup would you guys say goes well with the invader? I have one in the bridge, and some random stock China made pickup in the neck. Should j just get a neck invader or is there something to match it?

Re: A pickup to match the invader?

When you say match what do you mean? Wouldnt the neck version of the same pickup be the best "match" or are you looking for a different sort of tone from the neck?

Something that would not stray to far from the bridge pickups sound and feel, but still have some versatility

I would actually go with an SH12 screamin demon... the invader neck works good and can do many sounds just the SH12 can do them too and in many ways better. But thats just my opinion.

Ok so 3 people liking the combo make it popular... good to know.
Not to mention the people at Jackson who thought it was a good idea to have the combo come stock in the WR1.
You know what? I don't even know why I even bother arguing with you. Your beliefs are none of my business. I'm out of here.

Sorry dude I was just curious where you got the idea that it was popular. Its really not such a common combo to see.
