Okay, here goes...

I'm really curious. I know how many people I've turned onto Duncan pickups.

How about you? How many folks have you turned on to Duncan pups?

My cousin Tracy was a diehard DiMarzio guy until he herd my Ibanez RG with a Custom, now he's a Duncan head.

I tried telling my X-band mate, but he was so hard headed and wouldn't listen to any suggestions any one would give him on anything because in his mind, he was always right or he already knew what to do.

im not sure if i have turned him off of dimarzio, but my friend is a diehard dimarzio person. i think i may have changed it a little with the Custom, and the DD in both of my guitars.

Don't know if I managed to bring anyone over.

I mean ... people know I use SD pups ... and they know I think they're the best. But thruth told most people I know are not fussed about what pups they use

well, mine would be 3-5. i was a diehard dimarzio myself, and i now respect them a lot (i still like the tone zone, the airbuckers, and the evos) but i have realized that the tone that i´m looking for comes from duncan...

i have turned on a couple friends that loved the x2n and emgs and changed to duncan after hearing one Jackson RR with jb and jazz and now they want to pick a custom and a A2P

id say that ive turned lots of people on to duncans and pup swapping in general. ive done a few clinics at local shops and one at the old mars music before it died. im thinking about doing one at the gc in town since im sure the morons that work there dont know jack

I'm always raving about Seymour Duncan pickups and why they are so good. Most people I know who play guitar don't really care much for pickups, they don't really care about gear that much either, just not that serious about music at all. Strange attitude.
One guy I talked about gear liked what he heard from my rig so he asked me for advice on Duncan pickups, couple of weeks later he had his Epi LP Custom loaded with a '59/Custom set. He loves it!
Most people can't really believe how some good aftermarket pickups can make good tone happen.

nice sig. :headbang:

Where I work, there is about eight people that jam during breaks and lunch. We usually break down into three or four groups, and rotate every so often.
I, with the help of all here, was able to answer questions about different Duncans and fit these people into the tone they wanted, or got them real close. Beings how there was no "double cream patent" mongers there, Duncans were served for all.

I have sold people at guitar stores Duncans, even though I don't work there. Like I said, with the help of all here, I know or have access to more info on Duncans than alot of people that work at music stores.

Thank you Seymour!

Duncans Rule!!!

I was wondering who killed Mars Music. THanks. I liked that shop.
