A really boring question, but where do you buy your heat shrink?

I've bought it at several places and it varies a lot. I've had some stuff that is like hard plastic and is terrible for guitar wiring. Some is too thick, some too thin, etc. My favorite is probably the stuff I got from guitarelectronics.com. I really like the smallest size, which they call 1/16". I'd buy more there, but it's kind of expensive and I don't really use the bigger sizes much so the assortment is kind of a waste. I bought some 1/16" spec heat shrink off of Ebay, but it ended up being more like 1/8", which is bigger than I wanted.

Where is a good source for some quality 1/16" heat shrink for guitar wiring projects?

Frye's Electronics has good stuff, in many colors too.

Unfortunately, you have to put up with their slack-ass sales personnel.

Harbor Freight. But as as you say, the smaller diameter stuff is harder to get.

I went to home depot for the last bunch I got. But they only had plain black stuff, in two thicknesses. Was very good quality though.
