Oh, yes. There is about one minute of narration before the performance. Bear with it.

Click "Download Now" and select Open With and choose your media player. WMP works. I wasted one of the downloads checking it.

The file has no extension. Add a .mpg extension to the filename and you're good to go.

It's strange to hear the story of Judas being portrayed in that musical tone... the guitar playing is very cool, though. Is that you Stephen?

Yep, that's LesStrat as Judas Iscariot.

The musical is called, "The Witness." It was written in 1977 and our church has performed it about 20 times in the last 25 years. It is the gospel story given by Peter. This clip speaks for itself. It is one of the last acts of Judas. The next narration mentions his suicide.

We performed this musical 15 times that year. We're doing it 3 times this year.

The sad part of this tune is that it is too easy to empathize with Judas. The tears are real, BTW.

I change costumes and return for the last few songs. I have to...not just because the director wants my voice in the mix, but because I need the resurrection/victory songs to get out of the funk that Silver and Gold puts me in spiritually.

Thank you. I really appreciate feedback. I'm playing this part again this year, and I'm looking to improve the performance. However, it will remain more of an acting than a vocal performance.

Hm. Interesting idea. However, at the time I only had the tobacco burst Nitefly. Maybe I could do that this year. Or maybe rip into "Burning for You" or "Don't Fear the Reaper." BOC seems to fit here.
