Again swapping around pickups because its what I do. I scored a second BB3 and wanted to experiment with it. Putting it my Edwards LP with an Seths Lover in the neck. Putting a SH2 in my Korina V and swapped the Sh2 to a UOA5 after debating about A4 rough and polished.
Wish I would have taken a picture of the Sh2. It was used so who knows what happened but noticed the tape was very dirty and gooey. A transparent/orange tape covered parts of the coil, and the magnet was the most difficult Duncan mag I ever tried to remove. Just was odd.
I was impressed with the quality construction of the BB3 and it came apart quite easily. I was debating between a roughcast A5 or A6 and an UOA5. But as I was sitting there, an A8 kept calling to me...A8 has been a very polarizing bridge pickup for me. Either love it or hate it. The BB3 reads at 8.64k and the SH2 at 7.39k. Curious what the combo will do. The Gibson A2 magnet looked strange....it was partially rough.
Hoping The A8 BB3 brings the ruckus as the Seth Lover hasnt left the neck install.
Korina V is getting a UOA5 PB and UOA5 SH2 neck.
Pickups on the way: SH12 ($45!) Hoping to try A2 for a poor mans overwound 78. True Grit neck (that will be in the bridge as a trusted BKP user recommended it to me over the Black Dog bridge)
Experimenting: Pegasus. Fan as is. I am always a sucker to try UOA5 as I tend to prefer it over polished A5 almost everytime.
Curious if you have any recommendations and if listing pickups on this forum is any more successful than Reverb. Or if people trade?

Duncan: Custom(whatever), 59n, SH16, Lace Red/Blue Dually, Nazgul
Dimarzio: AT1 F, Evolution F, Breed neck F
Fluence: Classic set, modern bridge
