Anyway . . . check out this chart:
If you compare this segment, to the overall chart, it appears as though the P-90 Custom Soapbar is Duncan's highest output pickup. (Not counting Live-Wires.) Is this true?
And keeping in mind my constant budget-mindedness, if I wanted to try a pair of these, what would you consider the least expensive guitar that you would put these into, and still be able to appreciate their sound characteristics?
I was thinking along the lines of an Agile 2800 DLX, or similiar. On the other hand, I already have a reasonable collection of cheap-ish guitars. Maybe I should pack this all in, and just save up for one truly "nice" guitar.
